Overview
The 2010 Honda Accord Sedan is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan available in LX, LX-P, EX, EX-L, EX V-6 and EX-L V-6 trims with manual and automatic transmissions.
Mainly a carryover model from 2009, the 2010 Honda Accord Sedan comes loaded with plenty of technologies designed for more power, good performance, and enhanced safety of occupants.
Power and performance
The 2010 Accord Sedan is available with three engine types: a 177-horsepower 2.4-liter Inline 4-cylinder engine, a 190-horsepower 4-cylinder engine, and a 271-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine. These engines are mated with either a quick-shifting standard 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 5-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control system.
The V-6 engine loaded Accord Sedan trims get Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) technology which provides fast acceleration. The VCM system contributes to an EPA city/highway fuel economy rating of 19/29 miles per gallon in the Accord Sedan V-6. When equipped with the available automatic transmission, both 4-cylinder engines achieve an EPA rating of 21/31 miles per gallon city/highway*.
